• Mt Caoranach – Tolbachik or any active volcano. Arras Cathedral is Fishermans’ Bastion in Budapest. The Feldane ruins can be any ruined temple or castle being taken over by jungle, such as Angkor Wat.
• Forest Arden – Any old-growth forest, particularly anything that would pass for Lothlorien.
• Vale of Garnath – Kanuti River, Alaska. Karm’s Eorthwick is, of course, Edoras.
